Current Events

The very large telescope. What is it? well the very large telescope is a telescope operated by the European Southern Observatory here are some facts about it. The Vlt consists of four seperate telescopes, each with 8.2m across.  They are often used seperately. The VLT operates at visible and infrared wave lengths. The VLT is the most productive ground-based facility.

It was in the nes this week becuase they saw a planet forming on it.  It was the first time ever that they have seen this happening.
