My Opionion Of The Top Team Games

The Top Team Games were fun, I loved every second of it. I had a few classmates on the team I was which was team 11. My team was of Hazel, William, Me a little boy (just like william) Noah J and a few others I can't remember. The reason Hazel is highlighted yellow is because she was the team leaders were highlighted yellow and hazel was the leader and I was highlighted pink for no apparent reason but enough about my team lets get on to how top team works. In top team there are 14 activities. I got to do most of them but we didn't get to do the one that Noah wanted to do which was a water one and I will name some of the ones I did. There was gumboot throwing and I can't remember any other names of the activities but I can remember doing them. But now here are some photos 

Top Team was really fun and I can't wait until next year when I can do it again.

Puppets for PREP Liam O

In Pohutukawa 3 I've been making puppets for my group. I have already made a cat puppet called kitten. I'm working on Chica's Cupcake and I've almost finished the cupcake. There is also a foxy puppet. A bonbon puppet. A bonnet puppet. A fish. A green pig  and there are a lot of puppets made. I'm doing well and my group is doing well. Liam O Descriptive Writing

For writing this week we have been working on using descriptive writing to interest our readers, Mrs Clark gave us this picture and instructions to make it more interesting for our reader and then we used these words to make a story for this photo. After we had written the story we then self assessed and looked at the descriptive words we used. I really liked this activity because it made me better at spelling! Next time I would like to include more writing and have a word on every box on the 4-5 table.

Marae experience for me Liam Owen

This is my experience at the Marae i got there and it took a long time for the man to finish speaking. After that we did the hongi. And after that we went and had something to eat we were aloud a mini pie and cake or a sandwich and cake I had a mini pie and cake it was really yummy i loved it. After that we had a long 2 story's. After the 2 long story's we took a photo together. And then after that we left the Marae and it was so fun i'd love to go again.

Titanic Sinks

On April 15th 1912 the Titanic hit a iceberg in the middle of the night at full speed in the Atlantic ocean and was said to be unsinkable. It started to sink they went in the lifeboats the women and children went first but the lifeboats one of the first lifeboats to leave the Titanic carried only 28 people. And most of the boys were left behind and sunk with the ship and the water was cold Captain E.J. Smith and some passengers went down with the ship 300 dead bodies were pulled from the sea next morning. 1,503 people died on the Titanic and 713 people survived on the Titanic there were 2,229 people on the Titanic.

We had to write a newspaper report about the sinking of the Titanic.  This is mine and I really enjoyed this activity.  I found it a little hard at first because I was trying to use lots of different words.
